At Ecosystem Alliance, we are dedicated to sharing, expanding, and generating new knowledge through connecting disciplinary practice, place and species research. Whether youre a researcher, student, educator, or lifelong learner, our online talks, training and fieldwork opportunities provide spaces to deepen your understanding of biodiversity, connect with the alliance community and explore how ecology and design can work together in transformative ways.

We focus on two key areas:

Place-Based Research _ We advance research, develop methods, and conduct fieldwork to deepen ecosystem knowledge and support locally grounded, active practices. Our situated approach is built in collaboration with local partners, connecting diverse forms of ecosystem learning and practice across contexts.

Knowledge Development _ We focus on fostering activated learning through dialogue, mentorship, and collaboration. This can involve collective research processes of individual mentoring. Our mentoring processes connect you with experienced practitioners and researchers, offering guidance and learning experiences that strengthen research and practice translating ideas into grounded ecological action.

In 2026, we will be launching a new series of online sessions designed to inspire new ways of practice, learning, and collaboration, expand ecological knowledge, and support situated action for ecosystem health. Stay tuned to find the opportunities that are right for you, and share, learn, and grow alongside a community of like-minded practitioners committed to biodiversity restoration.
